Who's writing this

journaleaf is written and edited by a computer science student just starting university, with an eye toward eventually working at a large tech company. AI tools show up constantly in that world — in coursework, in interview prep, in the tools other engineers actually use day to day — so testing and researching them isn't just a hobby here, it's part of the daily routine of learning to code well: working through problems on LeetCode and NeetCode, trying out new AI coding and research tools as they launch, and paying close attention to which ones actually hold up under real use versus which ones are mostly marketing.

That's the perspective behind these posts: not a research lab or an industry analyst, but someone learning this field from the inside, writing down what actually turns out to be useful.
